The 1991 Midwest Vizsla Futurity was held March 15, 1991 at the well-known Branched Oaks grounds near raymond, NE. The field was small but mighty. The temps were in the upper 40's and the ground was damp due to the snow melting off. The birds did their jobs as all dogs had plenty of bord work and not one bird was caught. The judges' decisions were well taken. The new President of the Nebraska Field Trial Club, Bonnie Bergemeyer, came out to watch and enjoy. The first brace was started around 10:00 am due to the frozen ground the night before. The Nebraska Field Trial Association and the Game & Parks Commission are really doing a nice job with the grounds. They just put in a crossing through the creek which will sure help in the future. Following the photo sessions a trip to Branched Oaks Inn for lunch and refreshments was made. Thanks to Debbie, as the photgraphers camera didn't work right, or it may have been the operator, we have some photos.
